MUSLIMS AND OTHERS, In the Quran, it is said that meteorites/shooting stars are thrown by Angels at Jinns ?

This was probably part of pre-islamic myth that crept into the quran. If you were a supernatural being you wouldn't be particular scared of meteors or micrometeors. The International Space Station has never been hit by one in over a decade! Nor any space shuttle. Of course, Muhammad didn't think about that.
