What does this phrase mean?

"______ do it better"? You see this phrase on tees a lot, like, "Italians do it better," "Bikers do it better." Does "it" mean s*e*x, or just things in general? I'm getting a tee shirt with "brunettes do it better," just because it's rare that you see a brunettes shirt, and was just curious.
