Do I have fluid trapped in my lungs?

I think I have fluid trapped in my lungs. Everytime I wake up or am lying in bed is when I can feel it the most. Some days are worse than others and the gunk will come up my throat (phlem?). And I will feel a tickle in my throat and start coughing violently. I don't have insurance and tried to go to the free clinic but ended up waiting for 8 hours and still was not seen. I wonder if I have bronchitis or pnemonia? It has been progressing for months and my lungs often just feel cold deep within and I have trouble taking full and deep breaths. Please any info you may have will be very helpful! Thanks :)
