How do i get my bf to go down on me?

my bf and i have been dating for almost 9 months. We've had , we've done pretty much everything. He hasn't gone down on me because i used to be kind of uncomfortable with it because i thought he didnt want to do it. It took me a while to get over that even when he told me many times that he would want to do it if I wanted him to. I really want to have an and i know thats usually the only way to have one. How do i get my bf to go down on me tho? I dont want to come right out and ask him bec i think that would be kind of awkward. Is there any way i can give him the hints without coming right out and asking him? also, is it better to receive oral before having or after to have an ?
