Is the NBA East now competitive with the West? Can teams like BOS, ORL, & DET compete with SAS, DAL, & PHX?

I think that they can compete well against them except for Orlando, i don't think that orlando has enough experience to hang with SA, PHX, DAL, or Utah or Houston for that matter. But as for Boston i think that they will be able to hang with the west and detroit has been doing it for the past three to four years.
