My school library won't carry any books on Harvey Milk?

I think he was a remarkable man, and i want to learn as much about him as i can. I have checked out a book on him at the public library. But i think he is an important person in our countrys history and that books about him should be available at our shool. How could i go about doing this? Who should i bring it up to?
