Was this a lucid dream or something else?

Its still a lucid dream. Controlling things in your dream is very difficult. My first lucid dream (just a couple weeks ago) I couldn't control my surroundings but I was growing vines out of my fingers (small) but then when I tried to create fire from my hands, I had gotten a little bit but I woke up. It was very difficult to even to that, i knew I was trying extremely hard. So just try to do small things instead of changing the entire scenery and eventually you'll be able to do whatever you want at will.
