What did Pope Julius II do to establish his reputation?

He's known as the "Fearsome Pope" and "The Warrior Pope" but how did he get these? I mean I sort of know why he is know as the Warrior Pope for some of his military campaigns but how corrupt or what did he do to gain the reputation of "Il Papa Terrible?"
